1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MetaModel ("the Service"), operated by MetaModel LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MetaModel is a platform for building, publishing, and sharing interactive calculators and computational models. The Service includes the web application at metamodel.app, the Compute API, and the MetaModel MCP Server.

3. Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all projects, models, and formulas you create ("User Content"). By publishing a project, you grant MetaModel a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, serve, and make your published project available through the Service, including the Compute API and MCP Server.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you create and publish.

5. Compute API & MCP Server

The Compute API and MCP Server provide programmatic access to published projects. These services are provided "as is" for computation purposes. You may use them for personal, commercial, or educational purposes subject to reasonable usage limits.

We reserve the right to implement rate limiting or restrict access to prevent abuse. Automated bulk scraping of project data is prohibited.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the formula engine
• Scrape or bulk-download published projects without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the Service to build a competing product by replicating its core functionality

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by MetaModel and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that computations will be suitable for any particular purpose.

Computations provided by MetaModel are for informational purposes only. They should not be used as the sole basis for engineering, medical, financial, or legal decisions. Always verify critical calculations independently.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaModel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
